Term 2 Week 2 Monday 7 May 2018 PBL news To start term 2 the vertical groups discussed Care for people, property and the environment. What does this look like at home? Children making good choices about going to bed on time to get a good night's sleep to be ready to enjoy the next day. Making good choices about speaking politely to others and having good manners. Making good choices about keeping bedrooms tidy and helping in the kitchen. And finally making the positive choice to always put rubbish in the bin. The term has started well considering the big changes to the playgrounds. On each active playground there is a supervising teacher in a pink vest and another teacher organising a game that changes from day to day. There is a calm, active energy on the playgrounds. The hall is open both lunchtimes for creative activities. Playground 3 also for sitting and talking. The library is open second lunch for Make a space projects. Students are expected to mentally rehearse for success, making decisions as to what they will play in the 30 minute break. Please be mindful where you park when you visit the school or when dropping off your children as residents bins have been missed due to the contractors not being able to access them. If the waste contractor has to go back to empty a bin there is an extra cost to council. In 2018 Every student, Every day, All day by 8.55am at QPS.
