Our Teaching Philosophy As teachers, we believe that it is our responsibility to provide all our students with: an environment that is safe and conducive where every child can learn in, knowledge, skills & values that will help them be successful in achieving their lives' goals & studies, materials, opportunities & feedback that will help them develop a joy for learning, and help in becoming & remaining motivated as caring members & active contributors in their community.
Our expectations of the students As teachers, we also believe that our students have duties to us, to their fellow students, and to themselves. We believe that it is the students' responsibility to be supportive of the teacher and fellow students by being: tolerant of different points of view & perspectives, an active participant & contributor in lessons & CCA, present & prepared for class, responsible and disciplined in working hard to complete all assigned work & tasks, and a caring and empathetic Eunosian.

Practical tips in preparing for P5 Plan ahead Stepping up from P4 to P5 Come up with a practical and realistic timetable to help you get the most out of the time you have available. Set SMART Goals Write down your study goals down on paper and paste them up as visual reminders. Goals must be SMART! Specific, Measureable, Agreed upon, Realistic & Time-based
Practical tips in preparing for P5 (Continued) Daily Review Stepping up from P4 to P5 Your child has to do a quick revision of the key points learnt on a new topic or a revision topic every day. There will not be enough time if your child waits for the teacher to complete the topic before revising it. Study hard, play hard & be happy Time must be allocated for children to play and refresh their minds. Happy children are usually happy learners.
Stepping up from P4 to P5 Together with you, the teachers will help the students cope with all these changes. Speak to them, don t talk down to them. Listen to them, don t just want them to listen to you. Understand their point of view, don t just insist on having them understand yours. Encourage them and be their best cheer leaders as much as it is not easy for us, remember that it is not easy for them too.
