STUDY IN PARADISE! Why choose ICC Hawaii s Teens and Kids Program? Our experienced teachers provide a natural and nurturing environment for students to make progress with weekly student learning outcomes for three different levels. We use the communicative approach to teaching and strive to help students become active learners in a language-rich environment. Kids Teaching Approach The curriculum for our Kids program uses the Cambridge Young Learner Exam materials which provide creative, interactive activities that practice language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing in a communicative way. Teens Teaching Approach The curriculum for our Teens program uses the National Geographic Impact series which presents English language practice through activities and projects allowing teens to become active participants in the learning process. Douglas Groesser Coordinator for Curriculum & Faculty Development Activities By participating in the afternoon activities, students will be able to extend their English language skills in an environment outside the traditional classroom setting. Murat Demirtas Activity Coordinator Each week, the students will learn vocabulary and grammatical structures to express themselves by interacting with teachers, workshop leaders and their classmates with fun experiences!
