December 2018 Dear Parents/Guardians, We are pleased to announce our continuing partnership between Pemberton Township High School and Rowan College at Burlington County. PTHS students will have the opportunity to earn college credits while they are still in high school. The RCBC College Headstart Program offers courses via CAP- College Accelerated Program, online, and onsite at RCBC. We are accepting applications for students currently enrolled in courses for semester 2. Students must enroll in RCBC at rcbc.app.dualenroll.com and maintain a minimum of a C average in each course. Typically, a 3-credit course at the college costs over $400.00; however, PTHS students will be given a reduced rate of $150.00 per each 3-4 credit and $300.00 per each 5-8 credit course. Students who receive free and reduced lunch will pay $100.00 per each 3-4 credit and $200.00 per each 6-8 credit course. CAP courses are FREE for students of RCBC employees. The online application must be completed online by Friday, January 25, 2019. Your counselor will assist you with the enrollment process if you have questions. By partnering with our local community college, we are able to give PTHS students a jump start on their college careers. Students will be able to obtain both high school and college credit for the identified courses attached to this letter. Please call your students counselor if you have any questions. Sincerely, Eder Joseph Principal
