Adoption of Textbook 4.1 RESOLVED: that the Board of Education approved the adoption of the social studies textbook, America: History of Our Nation; Beginnings Through 1877 and published by Pearson Education, Inc. 2011 to be implemented in the Social Studies 7 course as per attached. 5. 403(b) Post Retirement Benefits 5.1 RESOLVED: that the Board of Education approves the Memorandum of Agreement between the Carle Place Union Free School District and the Carle Place Teachers Association dated March 22, 2012 where both parties agree that employees will be provided with the opportunity to participate in the District s 403(b) (non-elective) program, as per the attached. 6. Serious Illness Sick Day Agreement 6.1 RESOLVED: that the Board of Education approves and authorizes the Board of Education President to sign the agreement between the Board of Education, The Carle Place Teachers Association and the Administrators Association, and the employee discussed in executive session, as per the attached.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board President is authorized to sign the agreement for the Board of Education. 8. Special Education Services Agreement 8.1 RESOLVED: that the Board of Education approves the special education services agreement with United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Suffolk and the Carle Place Union Free School District from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 as per attached.
