The Timothy Times Nov 5/18 Mission TCS is an independent elementary school that educates children through Christ-centred quality programs that combine faith and learning. tcswilliamsburg.ca 613.535.2687 office@tcswilliamsburg.ca Wired for Joy! I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. John 15:11 From the Office: I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:2 Peek of the Week: Last Wednesday we joined together in praise and worship to our God as students from Redeemer Christian High School came and led us in a special chapel. If you d like to see and hear more about our time together please read our recent blog post: https://tcswilliamsburg.ca/praise-andworship-with-rchs/ Remembrance Day Chapel will be this Friday, November 9 beginning at 11am. You are invited to join us. Grade 3-4 Chapel will be on Friday, November 16 beginning at 8:45 in the morning. Refreshments will be served after the chapel. Everyone is invited. The Fall Membership Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 21, beginning at 7:30. Please mark it on your calendar. We have a PD day on Friday, November 23 for teachers to work on report cards. The school will be closed on that day.

The Christian School Directories are in! The oldest child in your family will be bringing one home today. If you have a child that attends Redeemer, you will be receiving your directory from there. Winter Electives: Again, this January we will be offering winter electives for the students in Grade 3-8. Right now we are in the planning stages and are putting together some ideas. If you have some expertise and might be interested in volunteering please let us know, so we can consider how it would fit into our elective plan this year. Morrisburg Santa Claus Parade: We will be participating in the Morrisburg Santa Claus parade on Saturday, December 1. We will be doing this with the volunteers from Timmy s Place and we need some volunteers who would like to help put together a float. If you are able to do so, please let us know at the office. Also, we will need people to come out that morning, ride on the float and hand out candy. From the Classrooms: Grade 8 Math: Fraction test was returned today. Spelling: Lesson 7. Quiz Tuesday. Grammar: Pages 121 and 123 due Thursday. Creating Writing: Re-write the shepherd boy and the wolf using story sequence chart. Bible: Due today: Students needed to find "Who am I in Christ?" This week we will be working on putting these truths together in an art project to display. I need to know by this Wednesday which grade 6s are interested in going. History: (Projects due Nov 20th) History projects were assigned last week on the Roman Empire. Each student has been given their own topic and is responsible for presenting and teaching their topic to the class.

Grade 5/6 Agendas are signed every morning. Please check here for homework and to write comments to your child's teacher or even for your child. French: Grade 5 please send pictures of your family, cousins, aunt and uncles etc. Students are working on a unit of their extended family. They will share with you what pictures they would like you to share. Whatever is the easiest way, send them that way to me. Grade 6 is working on their sports reports. Students must write a new paragraph each day with the research they have already done in French. Next, we will peer edit and I will edit as well. Finally, they will be typed into a google doc. Students will also design a sports card for their athlete on a google drawing. Examples are hung in the classroom and will be added to the google classroom.
