Martensdale-St.Marys Community School Standard 1: Students will use multiple strategies to read a variety of texts. The student will A. identify the characteristics of a variety of literary genres. B. identify similarities and differences in terms of setting, character, events, and recurring theme. C. make inferences by drawing conclusions, predicting outcomes from text and prior knowledge.
