9 General questions to ask: Does your school consider this a college prep course? Does your local community college or university accept the course? Is it acceptable for NCAA requirements? (Important Note: This does not guarantee college acceptance, but is a good starting benchmark.) Does the course teach to the standards set by the SDE Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS)? 10 5

Also recommended are: 1 extra unit of mathematics 1 extra unit of laboratory science Foreign language and computer science are NOT required subjects for college admission, foreign language and computer science can be used in the other category. 11 Performance Requirements Three options for automatic admission for first-time entering freshman: Option 1 Minimum ACT/SAT score Option 2 Minimum high school GPA (unweighted) and high school class rank Option 3 Minimum high school GPA 12 (weighted) in the State Regents required 15-unit core curricular 6

2011-12 Performance Requirements 13 OSU Performance Requirements Option 4** High School GPA in 15-unit core and ACT or SAT 3.0 and 22 or 1020 and answers to 7 undergraduate application questions. **Option 4 does not guarantee admission. Applicants who meet the criteria will be reviewed by the Admissions Review Committee before a decision is rendered. In addition, applicants must have a complete application submitted 10 business days before the start date of the semester for which they are applying. A complete application includes all required documents listed above. 14 7

Students should be encouraged to take the ACT on a national test date. 16 8

The legislation does not allow undocumented individuals to be classified as in-state. It does allow them to enroll at State System institutions, pay resident tuition (if they qualify as indicated below), and be eligible for state financial aid and scholarships only if the student has completed an affidavit as prescribed in 3.17.6A-E and: 1. Graduated from a public or private Oklahoma high school; 2. Resided in the state with a parent or legal guardian while attending classes at an Oklahoma public or private high school for at least two (2) years prior to graduation; and 3.
