ALABAMA presence. Effective July 8, 2014, WSU is no longer admitting students from the state of Alabama. ALASKA WSU is exempt from authorization under AS 14.48 and 20 AAC 17 as online or distance delivered education and that it does not have a physical presence in the state. ARIZONA ARKANSAS CALIFORNIA COLORADO CONNECTICUT DELAWARE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA FLORIDA GEORGIA WSU is exempt from authorization from the Arizona State Board of Private Postsecondary Education given that WSU does not have a physical presence in the state of Arizona. Authorization is required. Physical presence is not a factor in certification WSU received verification of exemption from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education pursuant to CEC section 94874.1. WSU is not required to seek authorization given that WSU does not meet the Colorado physical presence requirement. WSU is not required to seek authorization under the Connecticut Regulations for Licensure and Accreditation of Institutions and Programs of Higher Education sections 10a-34-23 and 10a-34-24. WSU is not required to have Delaware Department of Education approval given that WSU is not incorporated in Delaware and does not meet the Delaware physical presence requirement. WSU is not required to seek licensure from the District of Columbia Education Licensure Commission given that WSU does not have physical presence in the District of Columbia. WSU received confirmation from the Florida Department of Education that it is not within the regulatory jurisdiction of the Florida Commission pursuant to Florida 34 C.F.R. 600.9(c) given that WSU does not have a physical presence in Florida. WSU is exempt from authorization Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission WSU does not have a physical presence in the state of Arizona.

HAWAII IDAHO ILLINOIS WSU is exempt from authorization in the state of Hawaii. WSU does not have a physical presence in the state of Hawaii. WSU is Not Required to Register (NRTR) under the Idaho Code Title 22, Chapter 24 given that the programs are online-only, and that WSU does not have a physical presence in the State of Idaho. WSU is exempt from authorization in the state of Illinois. WSU does not have a physical presence in the state of Illinois. IBHE approval of distance education programs may not be necessary for those institutions with no physical presence in Illinois. INDIANA presence IOWA KANSAS KENTUCKY LOUISIANA MAINE WSU is exempt from authorization in the state of Iowa. WSU received verification of exemption from the Postsecondary Registration/Authorization Iowa College Student Aid Commission WSU is exempt from authorization in the state of Kansas. WSU received verification of exemption from the Kansas Board of Regents. WSU is not required to seek licensure from the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education given WSU is not engaged in any of the "operating or soliciting" activities listed in the licensing regulation WSU is exempt from authorization in the state of Louisiana. Maine Department of Education given that WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Maine. MARYLAND presence MASSACHUSETTS Massachusetts. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Massachusetts. Approval to offer online programs is not required at this time.

WSU is not required to seek certification of registration with the state of Mississippi pursuant to the Mississippi Proprietary School and College Registration Law, Title 75, Chapter 60, Mississippi Code of 1972. presence, WSU is exempt from authorization in the state of Montana. WSU received verification of exemption from Montana Board of Regents WSU received confirmation from the Nebraska's Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education that WSU is not required to seek authorization given that it offers strictly online courses with no physical presence in Nebraska. Nevada. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Nevada. WSU does not meet the requirements to establish physical presence in New Hampshire and is exempt from authorization pursuant to New Hampshire Administrative Code, HEDC 401.01 Paragraph C. WSU is not subject to state licensure regulations given that WSU is a recognized regional accredited institution only planning to offer distance education programs and does not meet the physical presence requirement in the state of New Jersey. WSU is not required to seek approval with the New Mexico Higher Education Department given WSU offers only online learning in New Mexico. WSU received confirmation from the New York State Education Department that it does not need to apply for approval as WSU delivery of online programs does not currently meet the definition of "physical presence" requirements mandating approval. Effective July 8, 2014, WSU is no longer admitting students from the state of Minnesota.

NORTH CAROLINA NORTH DAKOTA OHIO OKLAHOMA OREGON PENNSYLVANIA PUERTO RICO RHODE ISLAND SOUTH CAROLINA WSU is not required to seek authorization to offer online courses and programs to the residents of North Carolina given WSU does not have on-the-ground physical presence activities. North Dakota. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of North Dakota. WSU received confirmation from the Ohio Board of Regents that it is not required to seek authorization given that WSU is a regionally accredited institution and that its online programs do not have an on-ground component. Current policy adopted by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education does not require authorization as WSU does not maintain a physical presence in Oklahoma as defined by Academic Affairs Policy 3.1.2. WSU does not have and does not intend to have a physical presence in the State of Oregon, which can include a branch campus, administrative office or use of an Oregon based address; WSU does not conduct and does not intend to conduct local advertisement and recruitment in the state that would specifically target Oregon students, such as ads in local media, marketing of any kind or recruiting based in the State; degree programs offered by WSU do not include a component in which the student is required to complete an internship, externship, mentoring, practicum, clinical placement, etc., or any other onsite placement at a location in the State of Oregon Pennsylvania. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Pennsylvania. Puerto Rico. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Pennsylvania. WSU received confirmation from the Rhode Island Office of Higher Education that WSU is not required to seek approval given that WSU does not meet the physical presence requirement. South Carolina. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of South Carolina. In progress

WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Utah. Vermont. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Vermont. Virginia. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Virginia. Washington. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Washington. WSU is exempt from the State of Wisconsin Educational Approval Board oversight under s.38.50 (1)(e)2., Wis. Stats., "[s]chools that are supported mainly by taxes". Wyoming. WSU does not have a physical presence within the boundaries of the State of Wyoming.
