Kung Fu Program Our Kung Fu program started in January and has been very successful. We teach Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu for fitness and basics. We also have Contemporary Wing Chun which is great for self defence and discipline. No experience is necessary. All you need is a positive attitude and an open mind. Classes are for all ages, starting from 5 years old to 100. Our instructors have many years of teaching experience. Master Bing Phung has been teaching for over 20 years with training from the Yip man style Wing Chun. Classes run from 6-8 pm Mondays and Thursdays. Community Members: $50/month or $500/year Non-Community members: $70/month or $700/year Family Discounts are now back! 20% off monthly and yearly enrollments. High Park Community League is currently accepting resumes from individuals with a minimum of Level 3 Early Childhood credentials or equivalent for the Preschool Teacher position. Please note this is a PART-TIME position. This position would start as soon as possible, with a focus on promotion, recruitment, and reorganization of the program. Teaching would follow, likely in September 2017, once we have completed those tasks and recruited enough children to help re-start our program. On Saturday April 29, the Softball Program is holding a bottle drive. This is a major fundraiser for the ball program. You can drop your bottles off at the High Park Community League Hall from 9am 4pm or we will have players going door-to-door if you would like to put them on your front steps for the players to collect.
