The Speech Pathology Group Concord, CA Speech Language Pathologist contracted to El Dorado Middle School, MDUSD 2005-2008 Provided articulation and language therapy for students in middle school who were deaf/ hard of hearing, had specific learning impairments, autism spectrum disorders, and/ or dysfluency. Served as IEP case manager for approx. 20 students with Speech-Language Impairments, and was on the IEP team for another 35 students.

Trained teachers and para-educators on evidence-based strategies to use with nonverbal students (discrete trial training, pivotal response training, language enrichment, positive reinforcement, token economy systems, visual schedules, picture communication, etc). INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE Speech Pathology Group: Children s Services International (SPG: CSI) President Walnut Creek, CA 2008 current Organized all non-profit activities, including four different $50,000 projects for autism in Eastern Europe. Coordinated seminars and practical training for professionals and University students in 3 cities in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Opened two classrooms for children with autism. Supervised research project on Providing Speech Pathology Services in Underdeveloped Nations. Team Leader for annual volunteer trips, guiding 10-18 professionals and graduate students from the USA abroad, from 2009-2012. Bosnia Speech and Hearing Project Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina 2001 2008 Coordinated 7 international teams of SLP s since 2001 to volunteer in summer therapy clinics. Presented 5 seminars regarding Speech Disabilities for professionals and caregivers. Provided mentoring and training to over 35 undergraduate students studying at the University of Tuzla in the Special Education and Speech- Language Pathology/ Audiology Departments. Institute of Autism Spectrum Disorder Ljubljana, Slovenia 2005 & 2009 Keynote speaker for seminar regarding Autism Spectrum Disorders. Created and presented 5 days of information regarding treatment strategies and interventions for use by Eastern European SLP s and Psychologist s. Seminars included information on Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, Play-based therapy, the Picture Exchange Communication System, and Speech-Language Intervention.
