GentleBrook s Sports Training Center is an indoor facility available to teams, groups or individuals. The facility boasts a 76 x 96 field with a flexible configuration including multiple training lanes for a variety of sports including baseball, softball, soccer and various fitness classes on a turf surface. Team and individualized training programs are offered including strength & conditioning, speed & agility, pitching, catching, hitting and crossfit. For baseball and softball training, The Sports Center coaches utilize the award-winning HitTrax training tool to measure hitting and live pitching metrics. Used by trainers, coaches and colleges across the country, HitTrax is the standard in training technology. Valuable statistics include: exit ball velocity, distance, launch angle, hard hit average, spray charts, pitch velocity, late break measurement, pitch location, and performance trends. Each player s unique statistics provide the valuable data for customized coaching to improve the athlete s overall game.

Sports Training Center Rates Effective 8-1-18 Facility Rental Rates $30 per hour per lane. $35 per half hour HitTrax lane. $150 per hour, full facility, all 5 lanes including HitTrax. Fitness Rates Within the Sports Training Center at Hartville CrossFit, speed & agility, strength and conditioning training is available for teams and indivduals. $80 per hour for a team of 10 or more. Meet Our Coaches Brittany Mullen Speciality: Fastpitch Softball Brittany Mullen is a Northeast Ohio native who graduated with honors from Archbishop Hoban High School and John Carroll University. Brittany has been involved in fastpitch softball for almost 20 years; she was coached and mentored by Doug Finch whose teachings and mechanics have been researched at the highest level known in fastpitch softball. These methods are proven to be among the safest and most efficient in the world. Brittany s pitching philosophy is based on three principals: safety, efficiency and effectiveness. All three principals are supported by common sense, medical data and scientific research. Brittany utilizes this scientific and medically-based approach to pitching. Brittany strives to educate others. She is passionate about sharing information to reduce the number of injuries among youth athletes. Email brittanymullen@ymail.com or call 330-620-6513 Tim Evans Speciality: Baseball Called Big E by his students, Tim Evans developed a foundation of baseball instruction on balance, body position, muscle memory, mental focus, and prevention of injury. Evans has awards at both the collegiate and high school levels as an All-Conference player at Walsh University and All-Ohio player at Perry (Massillon) High School. From 2002-2008 Big E coached all disciplines at Walsh University (base running, fielding, hitting, and pitching). Big E was instrumental in Walsh s 2007 run to the NAIA College World Series and developed numerous All-American, All-Region and All-Conference players. During this time, Big E also coached in the Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League, Erie Shores Collegiate Wooden Bat League, and the Canton Class A Summer League. Tracee McCoy Speciality: Fastpitch Softball Tracee McCoy was an instrumental player for Ellet High School to capture the City Series softball title four consecutive years as well as claiming four regional championships. Along with a state title,tracee earned three All-Ohio honors. Tracee attended the University of Akron, was named the team s offensive MVP during her freshman year and was named to many All-MAC teams. She joined the Akron Racers in 2004, playing three years before moving into coaching. While coaching at Twinsburg High School, Tracee earned conference Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2008. Tracee has coached at both Marshall University and the University of Akron. Since 2009, she coached Ohio power travel teams. Her 18 and under NEO Bulldogs squad finished 17th in the nation at the USA/American Softball Association national tournament. Tracee was inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame in 2014, Summit County Softball Hall of Fame in 2016 and the University of Akron Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. Erin is also an experienced speed and agility and fitness coach. A graduate of Lake High School and a Hartville resident, Erin knows and loves the community and is passionate about physical fitness. She played soccer at Malone University while earning her Bachelor s Degree in Adult Fitness. She worked in Wellness and Health facilities for the last 15 years before accepting the position at GentleBrook s Sports Training Center in Hartville.
