Activities for Spelling 1 You will need a WORD SEARCH page for. Write each spelling word in pencil, pen, and then marker. Write words 1 5 in spelling stairs. plow wound down now Look up words 6 10 in a dictionary. Copy the sentence in which the word is used (be sure it is a sentence and not the definition). Look up words 1 5 in the dictionary and copy the sentences in which the words are used. Write words 6 10 in spelling stairs. Make a word search with your spelling words. Study for your spelling test. Activities for Spelling 2 Write each spelling word three times. Circle your neatest writing for each. Cut out letters from old newspapers and magazines to spell each of your spelling words. Glue the words onto your paper. Use each of your spelling words in a sentence. Draw a box around each word with a different colored crayon. Make a chart with three columns Spelling Word, Same Beginning, and Same Ending. Fill in your chart with the spelling words, a new word with the same beginning letter, and a new word with the same ending letter.
