Queen Anne Renovation and Addition: Transforming the Curriculums of Music, Theatre, Speech, and Mass Communications Route 202 Connecting College and Community Achieving Leadership in Arts and Culture Campus Way South

Expanding high quality arts learning opportunities for our students and the community. Serving both the college and the greater community of Prince George s County, the Queen Anne Renovation and Addition expands and transforms the existing 1960 s-era Queen Anne Fine Arts Building into a new state-of-the-art educational facility. The project supports the enhancement of vital Liberal Arts departments and programs dedicated to performing and communication arts as well as various workforce development, student services, and community outreach programs. The 759-seat theatre will be completely renovated to accommodate college-wide assembly functions and a variety of community productions and events. In addition to simply renovating existing space, the Queen Anne building will add 136,545 square feet that will surround and integrate the design of the original building, allowing for back and forth movement of students, faculty, costumes, supplies, and instruments. Dr. Charlene M. Dukes President Prince George s Community College The environment will foster more creativity, collaboration and impact on arts and culture in our region. The opportunity to expand our current programs to meet the arts education demands of our area, the ability to showcase the tremendous talent of our students, the potential interaction with local, regional and national artists, and connection to industry jobs is what is most exciting to me. Campus Way South Naming a Theater, Studio, or Gallery Naming a theater, studio, classroom, conference room, gallery, or other space creates a lasting legacy, while supporting the expansion of academic and industry training opportunities for students. Become a permanent part of this new premier regional destination for arts and culture. Contact the Prince George s Community College Foundation, Inc. at foundation@pgcc.edu or visit www.pgcc.edu/go/foundation.
