Broad experience in learning design/educational design/instructional design. 4. Experience managing a team 5. An understanding of the vocational education sector and its operations (experience working in regulated environments and/or for an RTO or higher education provider is preferred) 6. Highly effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills at all levels with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-skilled project team. 7. Proven experience identifying issues and proposing solutions in a dynamic environment. 8. Credibility and authority to contribute to discussions with other members of the College leadership team and stakeholders across HammondCare. 9. Empathy and patience 10. 2. Context and Scope HammondCare is an independent Christian charity that exists to improve quality of life for people in need. We specialise in aged and dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, mental health services for older people, and other related health and aged care services. HammondCare seeks to embed evidence based best practice in its services and we provide these services through home care, subacute hospitals and residential aged care. Bringing these health, hospital and aged care services together, HammondCare has been able to develop innovative, flexible care models designed to serve people with complex health or aged care needs, regardless of their circumstances. HammondCare works to provide its staff with support, career development opportunities, education, responsibility and recognition, work/life balance, and satisfying roles. About the Role The Team Leader Learning Design is an integral member of the Hammond College team, and is responsible for the delivery of relevant learning resources that support face to face, online and blended learning delivery as part of a pathway or in moments of need. This permanent full time, senior generalist role, has responsibility for oversight of learning design, coordination of resource development and the provision of guidance for the learning design team. The incumbent will work alongside other members of the Hammond College team to ensure they equally deliver on projects and key priorities throughout the year. The essence of this role includes: Providing general guidance to the College s design team in the areas of learning solutions, learning design, and assessment. Providing leadership, and direction for the design team as they collaborate with subject matter experts and create targeted resources to meet the needs of HammondCare business units. Working closely with the Leader ELearning Systems, the Team Leader Administration and the RTO Manager to implement the Digital Learning Strategy and prioritise resource development. Providing advice and support to members of the design team in order to ensure the efficient production and/or curation of high quality resources including (but not limited to): online modules, webinars, videos, discussions boards, transcripts, guided conversations, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, competency based assessments, and micro learning tools such as infographics, digital postcards and podcasts Developing and maintaining procedures and documentation to support continuous improvement of the resource development process. Developing and facilitating work project plans, debriefs and post deployment feedback to identify successes and opportunities for improvements. Report to the Operations Manager and to other key stakeholders on progress against HammondCare s Digital Learning strategy and develop solutions to any challenges as they arise

Delivering results Working Effectively with Advise and support the team as they work with subject matter experts to develop learning resources including (but not limited to): online modules, webinars, videos, discussions boards, transcripts, guided conversations, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, competency based assessments, and micro learning tools such as infographics, digital postcards and podcasts. Identify areas of technical weakness and support the team to develop their expertise as new techniques, technologies and opportunities arise. Manage the development and maintenance of learning design documents and online content - learning specifications, scoping, storyboarding, performance support tools and quality assurance documents. Experience in proactive review of content to ensure accuracy and alignment with the brief and HammondCare s Mission and brand.

Working Effectively with Ensure there is transparency and access to this information by appropriate managers across the organisation. Work cooperatively with other Hammond College Managers and Team Leaders on a range of projects and issues to ensure that there are no barriers or silos that hinder the College as it serves the broader organisation.
