It will als include an intrductin t requirements gathering. Yu will be required t apply what yu have learned abut Windws and Web applicatins when making basic applicatin design decisins. This curse is fundamentally different frm mst f the curses in this curriculum in that it fcuses n understanding business prcesses and identifying requirements rather than n develping specific slutins t meet thse requirements. Alng with an intrductin t business cncepts, the curse emphasizes sft-skill requirements such as wrking in a team envirnment, analysis, dcumentatin, and presentatin. Mst f the labs deal with identifying and specifying business requirements. In sme f the labs, yu will prepare shrt presentatins abut aspects f design. Yu will be expected t critique each thers wrk and ffer cnstructive suggestins.

Written assignments will take several frms, but are designed t wrk tgether t emphasize the cre gals f the curse. Yu will be required t research different aspects f business requirements and prepare written reprts. The curse prject will be a team prject. Yu will wrk with yur team t create and deliver a presentatin based n a business case study and yur wn research. Yur presentatin will include PwerPint slides and a written presentatin script. In additin, five quizzes and tw exams will check yur understanding f the material presented thrughut the curse.
