Characteristics of Marianist Education Characteristics of Marianist Education Characteristics of Marianist Education Characteristics of Marianist Education Characteristics of Marianist Education Characteristics of Marianist Education Emmanuel College offers the choice of a co educational or all boys learning environment, based on the values of the Marianist Tradition, where students are encouraged and supported to achieve their personal best. Through quality educational experiences and the collaboration and commitment of staff, students have the opportunity to unlock their potential. This Catholic education focuses on the development of the whole person: academic, social, emotional, spiritual and physical....research indicates that a student focused on their personal best is likely to achieve better and be more engaged in their academic learning one year later...it is like an athlete racing against themselves. Dr Gregory Liem and Professor Andrew Martin are researchers at the University of Sydney.
The Catholic education provided at Emmanuel, in partnership with parents, strives for the young people of the College to flourish and challenges them to live authentically at being their best.

PARENT Parent Connections CONNECTIONS The growth and flourishing of students is best achieved through a strong partnership with parents, the first educators of their child. We engage with parents in a range of ways about decisions concerning their child s education. Good communication is essential as we work together to build strong, warm relationships with the young people in our care and establish strong expectations regarding them being their best. In one term, I have had three positive phone calls and a positive email from teachers about my child s progress. I am convinced I have made the right choice. Matilda - Parent
