9. Regulations a. Enrolment at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich) can only be completed with an unconditional offer letter for a place of study and upon payment of the tuition fee. b. The tuition fee is set at 6000 per semester and an additional administration fee of approx. 130 per semester is payable directly to the LMU Munich. c. Cooperation with the university administration is required and students will need to keep enrolment appointments. The CIH LMU Program Coordination Office has to be notified in advance should a student be unavailable for longer time periods prior to the start of the course. d. Accommodation is not provided and difficult housing conditions in Munich make early arrangements crucial. It is in the responsibility of each participant to arrange appropriate accommodation for the duration of the program. e. For the participation in academic courses an appropriate health and liability insurance is a requirement in Germany. This may also be a pre-requisite for visa applications. Students are responsible for arranging adequate insurance cover. f. Students are required to carry a portable computer (laptop) during their studies, which is needed for readings and assignments. 10.
