Department of Pharmacy Practice The Department of Pharmacy Practice is functioning since 2001. The department provides clinical pharmacy training to its students and services to health care providers and patients of the Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, a 2500 bedded super specialty tertiary care centre. Members of our teaching faculty have been trained at various universities and hospitals in USA, Canada and Sweden. The department has expertise in diverse areas such as Medication review, Patient safety programs, Pharmacometrics, Toxicology consultations, Antibiotic stewardship, Assessment of evidence for therapeutics etc.
