YEAR 5 MATHS LONG TERM PLAN ACADEMIC YEAR 2013 2014 AUTUMN TERM WEEK BLOCK-UNIT MENTAL AND ORAL OBJECTIVE 1 Block A Unit 1 5 Questions from 1 Multiply and Divide numbers by 10, 100 and 1000 explaining through place value 1 MAIN OBJECTIVE 1. Read whole numbers in figures and words and write in words to at least 1000 000 2. Partition hundreds of thousands, tens of thousands, thousands hundreds, tens and units (extend to millions) 3. Order numbers large numbers, including decimals and negatives 4. Use < and > ASSESSMENT
