You can receive alerts, such as severe thunderstorm warnings, road closures, water service interruptions, changes in residential trash service, and other updates related to your city and county services. Page 7 November 4, 2014 Wisdom of the Ages Final Week "Thomas Jefferson" to Give Address for Final week of Wisdom of the Ages Exhibit Thomas Jefferson himself will offer his thoughts on some of the most historic early American documents on display in the Wisdom of the Ages exhibit at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan. On Saturday, Nov. 8, Bill Barker, who has portrayed Thomas Jefferson at Colonial Williamsburg for more than 20 years, will be in character at 10:00 a.m. on the stage in O Malley-McAllister Auditorium on the Benedictine campus. Watch the Missouri Town Dancers! To kick off the event, the audience will be entertained by the dancers from Missouri Town 1855, who will give a show of period dances from the early 1800s. Attendees will also be able to see the documentary, We the People, narrated by Morgan Freeman and Kenny Rogers. At the conclusion of the event, the Wisdom of the Ages exhibit will be open for public viewing in the Laughlin Rotunda of the Ferrell Academic Center. Learn More about the Wisdom of the Ages: The spectacular Wisdom of the Ages, a major exhibition from The Remnant Trust, Inc., will be open to the general public on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, all for free, from Nov. 8-15. The exhibit is open from 4 8 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. 1 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. 1 p.m. on Sundays. The exhibit is free. School tours are available through November 26 by appointment.
