Instructions for the candidate Submitting your completed application You need to submit your completed application, receive a bank slip from the British Council s office to go and pay at the Sudanese Islamic Bank (Baladiya branch). Please ensure you keep a copy of your deposit slip as proof of payment. Refunds All examination fees paid are non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued for incorrect choice of examination or subject choice. We will only consider applications for refunds made on the following grounds: 1. Medical hospital admission or serious injury 2. Loss or bereavement death of parents, guardian, brother/sister or child 3. Hardship/trauma victim of crime, victim of traffic accident 4. Military service Applications for refund must be made within 14 days of payment and addressed to the Country Exams Manager. Applications made after 14 days of payments should be addressed to the Examining Board and the application made through British Council. Applications made within 14 days of payment shall attract a 25% administration fee. Examinations Information You must select all syllabus codes and options codes you wish to register for this examination session in order to prevent any delays in the processing. It is the candidate s responsibility to pick the correct syllabus title, syllabus and option codes otherwise British Council will not be responsible if a candidate registers for a wrong subject or option. Please refer to the price list for applicable fees. Statement of Entry Statements of Entry will be available from the British Council. It is your responsibility to ensure that you collect your statement of entry. The British Council will not be responsible if you do not collect it and miss your examinations. Venue for Examination You will be informed of the venue for the exams when you come to collect your statement of entry. Dear Parent/Guardian, PICK-UP CARDS FOR May / June 2018 CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATIONS The British Council upholds a Child Protection Policy, which seeks to protect all children under the age of majority. Enclosed are two pick-up cards issued to the parents/guardians of under 18 years of age candidates sitting May / June 2018 examinations. The pick-up card bears the following details of your child/ward: A passport photograph Date of birth and Gender Candidate number Syllabus codes of exam entries The pick-up card serves as authority for the bearer to collect your child/ward. It is mandatory for anyone picking up a child from the Main Examination venue to bring the pick-up card. Your child/ward will not be released to anyone, unless they can present the pick-up card to the British Council venue staff who are responsible for the supervision of your child inside the examination venue for the duration of the exam. As two copies of the pick-up card have been issued to you, it is therefore your duty as parent/guardian to ensure the pickup card is presented at all times to ensure the safe departure of your child/ward from the examination venue.
