Birthday Bags During the month of February, St. John s Church is having a collection for the Lewis House. The Lewis House is a safe place for survivors of domestic abuse. Attached are the most needed items. If you would like to donate any items, you can drop them off at church or send them to school marked for the Lewis House. The Second Grade will be helping the people assisted at the Lewis House by bringing a little fun into their lives with Birthday Bags. The bags will consist of all the items needed for a birthday celebration gift bag, cake mix, canned frosting, candles, and a decoration. If you would like to donate any of these items, please send them to school. I would like us to be able to put several Birthday Bags together. The gift bags should be a size that will hold the other items, but not so big they would be hard to store. Decorations can include streamers, banners, balloons, napkins, etc. We will put the bags together on February 22; however, you are welcome to send in items any time. mtherres@sjb-school.org
