No. 842-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14 Dated 17/07/2018, the On-Line Admission Sub- Committee of the college (vide On-Line Admission Sub-Committee Meeting Dated 03/08/2018) has unanimously resolved to re-open the On-Line Admission Portal of the college in order to fill-up the vacant seats for admission to (Semester I) for B.A./B.Sc. (Honours) and B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (General) Courses under Semester-wise Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of the University of Calcutta during the Academic Session 2018-19. Notice is hereby given to all concerned that On-Line Admission Process will commence on and from 04/08/2018 (12 Noon) to 09/08/2018 (11 P.M.) subject to availability of seats (subject-wise and category-wise and maintaining Reservation Rules) All concerned are further advised to note that they shall have to apply through ON-LINE MODE ONLY by visiting the college website www.anurupchandracollege.org or www.onlinesacm.org. The applicants MUST NOT COME TO THE COLLEGE CAMPUS before admission as per Govt. Order. PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEES must be done only through e-payment. PAYMENT OF Admission FEES must be done through e-payment / any branch of Union Bank of India and NOT AT THE COLLEGE. Only Online Payment Slip with transaction successfully with Transaction ID, Candidate ID, Name, Amount & Date is accepted as a proof of valid payment. NO other document will not be accepted as valid payment. Without payment of Application Fees no form will be considered for Merit List. After Admission, the ADMITTED Student along with the GUARDIAN (FATHER or MOTHER) must physically come to the College for verification of Bank Challan/On-line payment Slip and other Documents within prescribed date. (If the Printed copy of the Application Form is duly signed by the Guardian then the GUARDIAN is not required to appear for verification). ADMISSION WILL STAND CANCELLED if the Admitted Student FAILs to appear for verification of Bank Challan/ On-line payment Slip and other Documents within prescribed date. ADMISSION MAY BE CANCELLED DURING VERIFICATION OR AFTERWARDS due to falsification of documents or declaration or due to non-eligibility as per CU norm. The eligible applicants would be admitted strictly according to the merit on the basis of Merit List without disturbing the merits of the students already admitted. Applicants who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) OR Equivalent approved Examination are eligible to apply. Name of the Council will have to be entered under Other in case of Equivalent approved Examination. Applicants who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Vocational Examination (conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development) are also eligible for admission only to B.A. (General) Course of studiesmarks of vocational subjects will have to be entered under Vocational 1, Vocational - 2 & Vocational 3. ADMISSION WILL STAND CANCELLED if marks of FAILED subjects in higher secondary level are entered. Further Details of Admission Procedure are enclosed herewith for ready reference. By Order Principal

Application Procedure (3 rd Phase) (strictly in compliance with the guidelines/ government orders/ circulars/ memos/ directives etc. issued by the Department of Higher Education, Science and Technology and Biotechnology, the University of Calcutta and the University Grants Commission) Read the instruction and Admission Procedure very carefully and be sure of the eligibility for applying in different courses as per C.U. Admission Regulation (vide notification no. CSR/26/17 dated 26/05/2017, CSR/64/17 dated 14/09/2017, CSR/3/18 dated 07/05/2018, CSR/10/18 dated 30/05/2018) and availability of seats before submission of the Application Form. An applicant may edit the Application Form before Submission, but once the Application Form is submitted, no editing can be done. However they may apply afresh within the last date. Applicants applying for Computer Science General (CMSG) should pass in Mathematics & any one of Physics/Statistics/Computer Science in H.S. or equivalent examination Applicants applying for Mathematics General should pass Mathematics or Business Mathematics in H.S. or equivalent Examination. Important Dates Date of commencement of Online Application : 4 th August 2018 ( 12 Noon) Last Date of Online Submission of Application Form along with Application Fee : 9 th August 2018 ( 11 P.M.) Date of Publication of Total Merit List and First Merit List : 10 th August 2018 ( 2 P.M.) Date of Payment for Admission under First Merit List : 10 th August 2018 to 13 th August 2018 (as per Banking Hours) Date of verification of Bank Challan/On-line Payment Slip and other Documents for ADMITTED students under First Merit List: 14 th August 2018 (11 A.M. to 3 P.M) Date of Publication of Second Merit List : 14 th August 2018 ( 5 P.M.) Date of Payment for Admission under Second Merit List: 16 th August 2018 (as per Banking Hours) Date of verification of Bank Challan/On-line Payment Slip and other Documents for ADMITTED students under Second Merit List: 17 th August 2018 (11 A.M. to 3 P.M) SUBJECT CHOICE For Honours Course : First subject denotes Honours (Core) Course and rest Two subjects denote General (elective) Courses. For General Course : From each set of three subjects, Any Two subjects to be chosen as Core Course (CC) and the Third subject will be Generic Elective (GE) after the Admission. ADMISSION WILL STAND CANCELLED IF MARKS OF FAILED SUBJECTS IN HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL ARE ENTERED.

CHOICE OF SUBJECT COMBINATION Choice of Subject Combination is subject to availability of seats. The applicants may choose General Subject(s) as per their choice. However, the applicants will be bound to accept subject combination offered by the college authority. A candidate shall be allowed to take up B.Com. (General) Course if he/she had passed the subject(s) at the previous qualifying examination as mentioned below: Accountancy/ Business Economics including Business Mathematics/ Business Organization/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics/ Commerce/ Accounts/ Business Studies/ Financial Accounting/ Office and Secretarial Practice/ Elements of Cost Accountancy and Auditing/ Book Keeping/ Business Mathematics/ Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management, Commercial Law and preliminaries of Auditing, Costing and Taxation. Steps for Filling up the Form Step 1: (Form Submission) Before filling up the form, applicants have to scan their recent passport size coloured photo and their full signature for uploading it in the Application Form by using the BROWSE button. (Picture size should be 20 kb to 100 kb). They have to click APPLY ONLINE button to provide necessary data like name, date of birth, address, caste/category, contact no, subject marks etc. very carefully. Now Click Submit Application button (Candidates should fill-up all the fields) Step 2: (Form Confirmation) After clicking Submit Button, a confirm page of the application form will be displayed in the monitor for confirmation of all data by applicants. Click on Make Payment button. Then click Please Confirm Your Details then Submit Your Application Form button for final submission of the Application form. ONLY ON-LINE Payment will be accepted. No correction is allowed after the submission. But, they may apply afresh within the last date. Step 3: (Print Form) After submission, Four more buttons will appear on the screen, PRINT FORM, ONLINE PAYMENT and EXIT. The Applicant should click on PRINT FORM to get a print out of the Application Form (in Portrait, A4 size format). Please take a note of the Application Id, in this print out. This will act as your User Login in future. The password will be your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format.

Step 4: (Payment of Application Fees) The Applicant should click Online Payment button for Online Payment through Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Card etc. Note: Without payment of Application Fees no form will be considered for Merit List. The EXIT button should be clicked to exit from the Form Submission screen. Step 5: Merit List The applicant should go to Merit List button for knowing merit status. MERIT POINT CALCULATION 1. Merit Point for Honours = Total Marks in TOP FOUR Subjects in H.S. Examination vide CSR/3/18 Dated 07/05/2018 of the University of Calcutta 2. Merit Point for General = Total Marks in TOP FOUR Subjects in H.S. Examination vide CSR/3/18 Dated 07/05/2018 of the University of Calcutta 3. (i) 5% of Norms Total will be reduced for candidates passing H.S. Exam in 2017 (ii) 10% of Norms Total will be reduced for candidates passing H.S. Exam in 2016 (iii) 15% of Norms Total will be reduced for candidates passing H.S. Exam in 2015 Step 6: Admission If ranked in the merit list the applicant should go to e-counseling List for printing Admission Challan. * The applicant should Deposit requisite Admission Fee as printed in the Admission Challan to any branch of Union Bank of India OR * The applicant may also deposit requisite admission fee through Online Payment and generate Online Payment Slip. Step 7: (Verification) The ADMITTED student along with the GUARDIAN (FATHER or MOTHER) must appear physically for verification and must bring the following documents during verification. If the Printed copy of the Application Form is duly signed by the Guardian then the GUARDIAN is not required to appear for verification. (a) The Original H.S. Marksheet, Madhyamik Marksheet, H.S. Admit card, Madhyamik Admit Card, SC/ST/OBC/PWD Certificates (issued by competent authority as per latest G.O.) (b) Self-Attested Photocopy of the above documents. (c) Printed copy of the Application Form duly signed by the Guardian. (d) Self attested College Part of the Bank Challan OR Self attested Online Payment Slip
