What is an upper primary STELLAR lesson like? Reading To Learn Teacher uses different strategies to help children read and understand different types of texts. Differentiated Instruction The teacher modifies her teaching to cater to the specific needs of children to build their language skills. STELLAR Strategies Used 1. Supported Reading (SR) a bridge between teacher-supported reading aloud and independent silent reading. opportunities for pupils to make predictions, read, discuss the text 2. Know - Want to know - Learnt (KWL) to extract information and relate it to what they already know to understand and follow the logic of information presented 3.
