In the implementation of HA, our school will use a range of appropriate assessment modes for different purposes to support the development of the whole child. The range of assessment modes allows our teachers to gather information about students learning and provide to the students on their mastery of concepts and skills as well as their strengths and areas for improvement. For parents/guardians, this can also help you support your child s/ward s learning and growth. To ensure rigor and standards of the learning outcomes, our school s overall HA plan includes both s (non-weighted) and s (weighted). a. s (Weighted) s are used to assess and report on students level of achievement of learning objectives. These are weighted and the marks obtained are counted towards the overall results at the end of the year. Please note that for s and, the percentage of the weighted assessments will add up to 00%. These formative assessments are carried out using different subject-appropriate modes of assessment, for example, mini tests, performance assessments and problem solving tasks.
