Paper 1 Situational Writing Write a short functional piece to suit the purpose, audience and context of a given situation. Task Fulfilment Language & Organisation 6 marks 9 marks
Purpose: Paper 1 :Situational Writing Are you clear on the purpose for writing? Audience: Do you know who you are writing to? Is the name provided in the question or can you use your own? Is it a male or female you are writing to? Context: The context for writing formal or informal tone depends on your audience (recipient) NOTE: If students show some or little understanding of PAC in their writing, their content marks will be affected and they will not receive the full 6 content marks, even if they have all the bullet points communicated.
