Secretary and Correspondent s Message I am delighted to know that our college newsletter is being released. On this gracious occasion, I wish all the best to those who are responsible for bringing out this letter. I congratulate Dr. B.A.S Roopa Devi, HOD & Professor for initiating this News Letter. I wish the same commitment from the entire faculty to do research in an advanced level and bring laurels. I congratulate the students who were selected to tournaments, internships and in placements. I wish all the outgoing students to have a successful career and anticipate that they will sustain the college name and reputation. Principal s Message I am happy to note that the editorial board brings out newsletter for the period JULY TO SEPTEMBER 2016. It is great to find a considerable number of winners and participants in co curricular and extracurricular activities which certainly prove that our staff and students are adequately equipped and possess necessary skill-sets to bring such laurels to the institution. In QISCET, the year complemented with the blend of curricular and co-curricular activities. The major events of the year include Workshop on Testing Tools, Big Data & Hadoop, Campus Drives by, POLARIS,ALL ONLINE GROUP,ZADOTECH etc... I appreciate the faculty members for publishing a good number of research papers in National and International journals. HOD s message I am happy on releasing September 2016 newsletter by the department of CSE into the light of world. I am very glad to note that interactive General Quiz, seminars, Paper Presentations, Technical Quiz, Aptitude Tests, JAM, Painting competition, Social Welfare activities and Group Discussions were conducted. I welcome the second year students and say good bye to the outgoing students and also I wish all the best for your bright future. I heartily congratulate the faculty of CSE for taking initiation and creating this newsletter.
Training Programs / Entrepreneurship programs/ Conferences/Guest Lectures/ Seminars/ Workshops organized 1. A 45-days workshop was conducted for IV CSE students
1. A Two Days workshop on BIGDATA & HADOOP was organized in QISCET from 23/07/2016-24/07/2016. IV CSE and IT STUDENTS attended the programme. The resource person of the programme was Dr. U. Satyanarayana Raju,IIT warangal. 2. A One-day seminar was conducted on DataCommunication & Net Working was held on 28/09/2016. The resource speaker of the seminar was Dr. G. Ram, Associate professor from IIIT. In his sessions, he presented about computer network design, implementing procedure, establishment procedures and protection from hacking. 318 students from second and third years of the course attended the programme.
3. A Two Days workshop on Software Testing was organized in QISCET from 06/08/2016-07/08/2016. II & III CSE and IT STUDENTS attended the programme. The resource person of the programme was Dr. G. Sampath, Cognizant Hyderabad 4. CSE Department organized Seminar on IBM BroadCasting on 26/6/2016

Students Achievements All Online, a Reputed Multinational Company Bhuvaneshwar, conducted campus recruitments in QIS on 23/6/2016 for various positions such as Business Developers, Technical Engineers, Communication Engineers, and Trainee Engineers. Thirteen students were selected in the recruitment process and offered with a package of Rs. 3 lakh for Mechanical, Rs. 2.1 lakh for E.C.E, E.E.E., and C.S.E and Rs. 1.8 lakh for M.B.A.
