End of Semester 1 Exams will be conducted as per the attached timetable, whereas the practical assessments will be conducted in class during normal lessons from 7 th January 2018. Practical Assessments are real-world scenarios, experiments or investigations, which require students to apply the knowledge they have gained in a joined up way. It is an approach which promotes higher forms of thinking. The students don t need to prepare specifically for Practical Assessments. Each student should make every possible effort to be fully prepared for End of Semester exams. All learning objectives will be posted on the school s website.
