Education and Scientific Research aims to give its contribution by focusing on economic and employment aspects and underlining the value of educational and scientific activities and its contribution to the combination and progress of social relationships in the development of a community in the urban context of knowledge. Given that in recent years Albania has become a highly attractive educational and scientific destination for foreigners, which is confirmed by numerous articles in prestigious newspapers such as Times, The Guardian, New York Times, etc., can be said with conviction that this sector constitutes an extremely important asset for the country. These are the main reasons why CME has chosen to invest in capacity building in this sector. We also believe that the effects of this project will be long-term and will ensure a sustainable development for education and science in Albania thus creating a tradition of engagement of civil society in capacity building in this sector, which can be said to be primary for the country and for every individual in Albania. The Center of Managment of Education (CME) aims to contribute to the modernization of society, to the expansion of democracy, rule of law and market economy in Albania, focusing particularly on the education sector. CME aims to encourage innovative initiatives and ideas to increase the capacity of Albanian professionals and their ability to contribute to the modernization of practices within their field of expertise. CME also serves as a center for establishing dialogue networks between Albanian research institutions and Western academic institutions. The project is best suited to the philosophy and leadership mission of CME because the purpose of the project is to bring initiatives that are innovation in the education sector, educational exchanges

and scientific research, certainly focussing on education through provision of training Education focused mostly on a Professional Education in this area and establishing dialogue networks between Albanian and Western institutions. It can be said that this project best accomplishes the goals of creating CME and represents another progress for the work of the Center of Managment of Education. Already experience as a Coordinator: yes no As a Partner: yes no If yes, which project: Other partners in consortium already identified (with countries): 2) TARGET COORDINATOR / PARTNER SOUGHT Organisation details: Higher education / university Industry / SME Research institution Other NGO Please specify: Education We are looking for following Expertise / Competencies: Education in Albania is one of the most important assets of the country that brings not only professional and economic benefits, but also contains other dimensions. This includes the development of scientific education, transformation into a country with international educational and scientific standards and social dimensions. Increasing the professional capacities of employees and students in this sector would be a long-term investment, as it aims to increase the quality of services provided in this sector. Keeping Education and Science is an added value for every individual with long-term effects and given that it is a field that currently serves more than others because of its international use it is often necessary. Albania is increasingly gaining the status of an attractive educational and scientific country where each passing year brings more cooperation with interested organizations and professionals interested in Albanian education and research. Communicating with them, among other things, is a necessity for the promotion and advertising of the country and individuals as a society and a place of education with high standards of scientific research, cooperation and exchange of educational knowledge. For this reason CME believes that this project with its goals and objectives has longlasting and lasting effects for the improvement of the EDUCATION sector and the increase of the professional capacities of the field staff. Moreover, the completion of the project after the defined period does not mean that all the knowledge gained from the training or network of recognitions that will be made possible by CME will end there, but the whole purpose is to remain and constitute a source of development and improvement for education and science in Albania.
