National Healthcare Science Week (Monday 11 th March to Friday 15 th March). Applications have now gone out to all previous pupils who have contacted me directly. I would encourage you to share the attached again with all your pupils (year 11 and above) to ensure they have access to register to attend these events. This is such a unique and amazing opportunity to see, meet and have some hands-on experience within the many careers of healthcare science. Pupils need to complete the attached, application to register their specific interest for the session they wish to attend and then have a 2 nd reserve choice. The General session on Wednesday 13 th March will give you an overall experience to visit a wide selection of stands that will showcase the vast areas of healthcare science. You can talk to professionals within their roles and they can give you further advice and guidance. AIM HIGH PROGRAMME A fantastic week aimed at 14 to year old students that are interested in an aviation career whether it is flying, engineering, RAF, Air Traffic control or Airfield Operations and Management. Weather permitting the students will also have the opportunity for a trial flying lesson in a light aircraft. They will visit on site companies including aircraft engineering companies, the Air Traffic Control tower and the Air Traffic Control college. It is a free week but the students will need to apply via our website and we are holding interviews at the Gloucestershire Airport on the 2 nd February and from there we will select 10 students.
