What is Dual Enrollment? Dual Enrollment is a pathway that allows high school students to enroll in college courses while still in high school and receive college and high school credits at the same time. The college credits that students earn can be used toward both a high school diploma and a college degree. Courses are taught at the high school by high school faculty certified to teach college courses, online by faculty or at a campus. For example, a student can graduate from high school with Dual Enrollment credits and use those credits to complete a Technical Competency Area, Certificate of Technical Studies, Technical Diploma or an associate degree.
