My Library (Resource Centre) Serves as home for Library and Information Services Small, highly focused, but fast growing Collection: 18,000 books, bound volumes, AV and digital materials 300 Print journals+ 1500 E-journals E-Resources: ACM DL, IEL, Springer, LNCS,INSPEC, ITU, USENIX and IEEECOMSOC Tutorials 11 staff members Open on all days ( except 3 national holidays) Accommodates 450 students at a time Fully computerized, bar-coded, 3M security system installed Delivers the services through its website on Intranet

My Fellowship Canadian Studies Faculty Research Fellowship 2006-2007 ( four weeks) Supported by both Canadian and Indian Govts. Administered by Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, Calgary and New Delhi. My research study under the fellowship is, A Study of Institutional Repositories and Electronic Theses and Dissertations Projects in University Libraries in Canada. --Gathering the data using published literature, websites, interacting with implementers/project Managers over the e-mail and phone. --Doing a case study of U of C Library IR Project --Required to submit a report --Encouraged to publish papers
