Visit the Higher Education fair at Abingdon and Witney College, Monday 26 th June, 6-8pm Speak to representatives from over 30 Universities about admission requirements and University life. Use this information to plan your sessions and record information about your subjects. We have set up these sessions to help you confirm that you have chosen the right subjects. Dear Year 11 student, On the next page you will find the taster sessions which departments are running AT JOHN MASON SCHOOL to help you make GOOD DECISIONS about your subject choices for September. It is expected that you will attend school for these four days so you have shown commitment and motivation towards your proposed place in the 6 th form. If you do not attend WITHOUT A GOOD REASON, then your place may be in some doubt. I look forward to seeing you all on Monday 26 th June at 8.45 in the main hall for a welcome session. Thanks Mr Sissons During this week you can wear non-school uniform. You will have access to ALL 6 th form facilities along with year 12 who are also in school. You will be expected to attend morning registration with a 6 th form tutor. On Monday please bring some comfortable clothes and trainers as these will be required for the group activity. Towards the end of the week you will be asked to confirm your A level choices AND the enrichment activities which you hope to follow. Please make the most of this week in helping you to make good choices concerning your future course. 4
