This person typically also meets with MGC chapters throughout the semester and participates in monthly OWS events. d. Vice President of Judicial Affairs (Sofia DeBenedittis, mgccsu.judicialaffairs@gmail.com ) i. Hey Y all, my apologies for not being here today. I am at an AUHB (All University Hearing Board) pre hearing, just one of the perks of being VP of Judicial Affairs. With this position I get to be a justice for the AUHB with voting rights, which is actually super cool because it applies to organizations university wide. This is something new that was just added to this position.i also get to be a chairperson for Joint Judicial Board for Fraternity & Sorority Life and we have hearings when chapters break the joint policies (like not registering a BYOB). This is super dynamic position that seems to be constantly moving and shaking! That is because no two cases are the same and the way we we approach the case is always unique. That is because as a conduct board we want to make sure the sanctions we give out are super intentional and right for your chapter. So with that
being said, if you would like to run for VP of Judicial Affairs those applications close October 29th and if you would like to be a member of the JJB those applications close November 16th. 1. Time commitment looks like about 2-4 hours a week depending on the case load 2. You will only meet if there is a case! 3. We meet in 3 stages. Pre hearing, hearing, and post hearing and are spread out across three weeks. 4. If you have any interest on serving on a conduct board I would encourage to apply, apply, apply. I have honestly learned so much through this position, I would highly recommend if you have the time! e. Vice President of Risk Reduction (Tatjana Clark, mgccsu.riskmanagement@gmail.com ) i.
