An academic year for the Bachelor s Degree program is defined as completion of 24 semester credit hours in 30 weeks. The satisfactory completion of the credit hours in the academic year is necessary before a student may progress to the next level of academic standard. To be a full-time student in the Bachelor of Science program a student must attempt a minimum of 8 semester credit hours per ten-week term. A student attempting 6 or 7 semester credit hours will be considered a three quarter-time student and a student attempting either 4 or 5 semester credit hours will be considered a half-time student. A student that does not maintain full-time status may have his/her Financial Aid disbursements adjusted accordingly.
