Total 2227 participants including students and faculty members of the institute attended the seminar & Exhibition. 20 plant visits were conducted in the month of September 2018; total 813 students of schools/colleges & KAPS employee s family members/nsg officers /Reliance Industries officers from Gujarat visited the plant. All the visitors were briefed about the working of a nuclear power plant with the help of flow indicator display models and posters at Kakrapar Site Information Centre. Technical guides of KAPS site assisted the students during plant visit and also explained the power generation process. Questions asked by the students were answered by technical guides. Highlights of the month 20 onsite out reach programs organised for School & College students and relatives/family members of employee. Total 813 students and faculties participated resulted in 4878 hrs. of public outreach activity. Total 60 man days spent by KAPS to achieve these out reach activities. 850 Public Awareness booklets of local language Gujarati and English were distributed. 2 out station out reach programs (one seminar and one exhibition) were organised for college students. 4500 hrs. of public outreach, reaching 2227 students and faculties. Total 12 man days spent by KAPS to achieve these out reach activities. 1655 Public Awareness booklets of English language were distributed. Page 2 of 26

The cleanness of the over all plant is very good, explanation of the faculty member is very good and it is fully supported to teaching of the student. This power plant is very useful to understand how to develop electricity. In this power plant security is very high level and involved persons have very good, knowledge of nuclear power station. Very nice efforts & well time spent during visit. All the students are familiar with nuclear power plant in practical side in deeply. Great support by all the kakrapar Plant guides, with proper knowledge given to students and also clear the queries of the student. It is very good opportunity for us to visit your plant site.
