The VET sub-systems in the French speaking part of Belgium French Community: compulsory and higher education, school base vocational secondary education workload vocational secondary education education for adult. For the same job or a family of jobs We find on the VET market : different degrees, different vocational training certificates, certificates attesting of the participation of a Titles of notoriety vocational course. The names of the qualifications and the learning pathways are not coordinated. Questions for the workshop 2 Are the existing tools and principles responding adequately to the learning and mobility needs of individuals? Yes, but we have a lot of work with the implementation and the customization of these tools. How can European initiatives be combined and further developed to help meet the needs of individuals learners and employees. ECVET, EQF and EQAVET are tools of transparency that will help people to better use their professional skills (to combine their implementation) Which forms of cooperation are required to ensure that the tools reach learners and employees? What is the particular responsibility of the social partners? To share the political goals and be involved in the implementation process tools What concrete objectives should be set for the development of European tools and principles up ton 2020? Be reasonable in the goals, respect the culture and negotiation process of each State Support initiatives and develop networks The challenge of the ECVET implementation in Belgium 12
