The amount of new technical information has been doubling every two years. It is predicted to double every 72 hours by 2030.
Virtually every job in the country requires some skill with information-processing technology.
To thrive in today s world and tomorrow s workplace, middle school students must learn how to learn and learn how to think.
We are currently preparing students for jobs that don t yet exist Using technologies that haven t yet been invented.
To gear up for the future, a middle school student must make wise course selections.
Taking advanced mathematics courses in high school will increase the likelihood of college admission.
Challenging courses help kids graduate from college Finishing a course beyond the level of Algebra 2 more than doubles the odds that a student who enters college will complete a bachelor s degree.
In the Past A high school education was sufficient Today skilled workers need specialized training beyond the high school level.
Currently... All students must exhibit a determination and dedication to completing advanced courses in high school. Today, a post-secondary education is a necessity, not a luxury.
