Classroom Routines
Supplementary Mondays and Tuesdays, 2.15pm 4.15pm Pupils will spend 1 hour in guided supplementary for each subject Parents to adjust home tuition time if applicable Homework will be given almost daily
Home Support Check progress regularly Sign worksheets and test papers Communicate with teachers to check on progress. Balance between homework and tuition
Homework Policy Homework assignments to be made known to pupils and subject teachers School work comes first. Special consideration for pupils with external commitments e.g. competitions and medical reasons
Quality Pupils should record the homework for the various subjects in the handbook daily get seat partners to check homework notes made in the handbook attempt all the given questions to the best of their abilities
Quality Pupils should display clear and neat handwriting check all the written work at least twice to reduce the number of mistakes made due to carelessness date all their work
Expectations Of Follow-up Actions Pupils should complete all corrections on the day they receive their work from subject teacher clarify with the teacher when in doubt conference with the teacher if necessary
How Parents Can Help Monitor the completion of the child s homework based on the notes made in the handbook Ensure school homework is given top priority amongst other work given at home or by tuition teacher Check and sign child s workbooks / files
