Key Topics / Timeline In Maths students revisit previously taught topics on a regular basis building in new knowledge each time. Each topic is taught in 2-3 week blocks with students being assessed at the end of each topic. In year 11 we aim to complete teaching of all content by February half term. The remaining time is used to revisit areas of weakness and practise exam technique.
Pre Public Examinations In year 11 students sit four PPE exams in Maths at the following times October December February April Following each PPE detailed analysis is undertaken to highlight areas of strengths and weaknesses for each student. This informs future planning of lessons and enables students to focus their revision on individual key topics We strongly believe that Practice makes perfect
