Catholic Virtues into Action December is the month when we focus on the virtue of humility. In humility, we turn to Jesus as our model, for he says, Learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart. (Matthew 11:29) In humility, we turn to Jesus for the graces, the Giver of all good virtues that we need. In humility, we depend on God, gifts, and in humility, we share our giftedness with others. Mary's "yes" to the Angel Gabriel, to bring God's Son into the world, makes her a model of humility for each of us. The Parent Council Christmas Store is scheduled for Monday, December 12.
