INFORMATION FOR ADMISSION TO 05-YEARS INTEGRATED M.Sc. PROGRAMME- 2015 The following 05yrs Integrated M.Sc Programme 2015 are offered by various departments of the University as follows. The reservation of seats in different subjects in accordance with government rule of admission. Eligibility for 05-Years Integrated M.Sc Programme: Passed or appeared in 2015, 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Science as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Biotechnology / Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Geology / Statistics. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together. There is no age limit to appear at VSSUT Entrance Test-2015 for admission into 05-Years Integrated MSc courses in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Life Science. The candidates must submit appropriate course completion certificate from the Head of the Institution, which they last attended, and copies of mark/grade sheets. 2. Subjects for appearing at VET-2015: All candidates seeking admission to 1 st year of 5-Years Integrated MSc in any subject shall have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (60 questions in each subject) for a total duration of three hours in one sittings (as per standard syllabus of CHSE/CBSE/ICSE) 3. Examination Procedure / Valuation methodology: There will be multiple choice type questions. The number of questions will be sixty (60) per each of the above mentioned subject of examination. Each question shall have four answers (including one correct answer) and the examinee shall have to put a cross mark (X) only the appropriate answer (which he/she considers most correct) in black / blue ballpoint pen. Each correct answer shall fetch four marks. Each unattempted question will fetch zero. There is no negative marking. If more than one answer are marked for one question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer.
