Please support the families in Lima by donating canned goods, boxed food and non perishable items to fill a bag for the hungry (NO glass). Tomorrow is the last day we will be collecting food at school. Thanks for your support. Christmas Program We are looking forward to seeing you Monday night in the school gym for our Christmas Program. Our kindergarten, 1st grade, and 4th grade students perform at 6:00 while the 2nd and 3rd graders will perform at 7:00. Miss Recker sent a letter home detailing when the students should arrive in their classrooms. The PTO is sponsoring cookies and drinks for all after both shows. F r o m t h e D e s k o f M r s. S c h e i d Kewpee Drive Last week your child should have brought home a permission slip to sell Kewpee coupons. This is a wonderful fund raiser for our school because everyone loves a Kewpee hamburger. Not only are these coupons easy to sell, but you are able to earn money to be deducted from your tuition or fees. We are very grateful to the Shutt family for donating this great Lima tradition to our Catholic Schools. The drive will begin January 7th and run through February 3rd. Nativity Set At all the regular weekend Masses on December 15 and 16, we invite you to bring the Christ Child (or Baby Jesus) from your nativity set. At one point during Mass we will take a moment to bless the figurine. This is a fantastic teachable moment for families to refocus children on the true meaning of the Advent season. Don t forget to bring Jesus with you to Mass this weekend! PTO Christmas Wrapping Don t get wrapped up in holiday stress. Let the SCCS PTO help you out this Christmas. Our PTO Santa Helpers will be in the school on Tuesday, Dec. 18, Wednesday, Dec. 19 and Friday, Dec. 21 from 8:30-10:30 providing their expert wrapping skills. Drop your gifts off in the school office by 8:30 and come back later to pick up your wrapped presents. You may send your own wrapping paper or use ours. What a great way to take the worry out of wrapping and support a great cause! Donations received will be used to support future PTO special events. Cell Phones & Smartwatches Please review the Personal Electronic Device/Cell Phone Policy in our School Handbook found on page 29. All cell phones and smartwatches must be stored in lockers or classroom cubbies and in the off position throughout the entire school day. If you need to communicate with your child(ren) during the school day you may do so through the school office.
