CHEC Service Descriptions You Can Homeschool!" Coordinator Plan an informal get-together (usually over the summer) for new home schoolers who are looking for help getting started. This is for a more seasoned homeschooler who is comfortable sharing her experience and insight. And who loves to encourage others! Achievement Testing Gather info on annual testing available to homeschoolers in the local area and share it with the group to take advantage of. For example, at local private schools, etc. Back To School Party Usually done in August. Kids Station is always a hit. The splash pad is a good option too. Simply get it on the calendar and invite everybody to come! Back to School Tea Coordinator This is our first meeting of each new school-year. Choir Coordinator Organize a CHEC choir for parents and grandparents to come hear perform. Or look into local student choirs that allow homeschoolers to participate and help our students to get involved. Can enlist a helper if needed. Community Service Project One per Semester

Just a little something that brings a smile. Monthly Meeting Snacks (3 people needed monthly) Bring an appetizer or dessert to share at the monthly meeting.
