Regular meeting time; Tuesday, December 5th 7-8:30 pm Please bring something to share! Member News Sharon D. Eisman is honored to have "Mohomodi" included in the 2017 Winter's Eve 7th Annual Exhibit at the Howard Silverman Gallery, East Greenwich Free Library. December 4, 2017 - January 5, 2018. Opening reception: Thursday, December 7th, 6-8 pm. Bev Silva and Sharon Eisman will also be exhibiting in the Attleboro Arts Museum Member's Exhibition December 9th, 2017 to February 1, 2018. Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love. ~Hamilton Wright Mabie Jean Green was accepted into the Winter's Eve juried exhibit at East Greenwich Free Library that will run from Dec. 4th -Jan 5th, opening reception will be on Thursday Dec. 7 from 6-8 with refreshments and a harpist, Judith Mitchell. Jean Also couple of pieces in Old Lyme "Deck the Halls" exhibit that runs until January 5 th and will also be exhibiting in Wickford's "Small Works" show that runs from November 24th-December 23rd. The opening reception is on Sunday December 3rd from 12-4 pm, Kathleen Lombardo is exhibiting in the new exhibit at the New Hope Gallery at the Cranston Senior Center. Their show will run through February 2018. Rosemarie Manson will at the East Greenwich Art Club will exhibit at the Cranston Central Library, December 2 30, 140 Sockanosset Crossroad Cranston, RI 02920. Opening Reception- Sunday, December 10; 2pm to 4pm. Library Hours: M,T,W-9am to 8pm; F, Sat. 9am-5pm, Sun. 1pm to 5pm. Cranston Senior Enrichment Center November 2017-April 2 1070 Cranston St. Cranston, RI Gallery Hours: M-F, 8:30 to 4:30 Marilyn Mooney will be exhibiting at the Small Works Show at the Wickford Art Association gallery now to Dec. 23. Opening Reception Dec. 3, 12 PM to 4 PM. She is also showing some of my work at Main Street Coffee, E. Greenwich and South County Artisan's Loft at the Umbrella Factory in Charlestown. Ann Bianchi received 2nd place In The URI Clean Water Watershed Painting Contest, for her hand painted boat Oar auctioned at URI on November 5th to benefit the organization. Ann Bianchi is also in Holiday Art Shows at Wickford Art Association, South County Art Association, East Greenwich Art Club Cranston Library Show, DeBlois Gallery in Newport. Ron Joseph has two photos and Bev Silva has work on exhibit and for sale at the Save The Bay Artists for the Bay Show and Sale exhibit runs from 11/30 to 1/27/18. The opening reception is 11/30 6 to 8:30 PM and there is a closing reception on 1/27/18 from 11AM to 3:00PM. Nancy Nielsen will have jewelry, ornaments, and gift items Mad Dog Artist Studios & Gallery Holiday Sale. There are about 45 artists participating, and it's a great place to do some holiday shopping. Exhibit Opportunities from Jeannine Anderson EGAC Exhibits If anyone wanting to participate in the show at the Cranston Library cannot get their entries there on Saturday Dec. 2 during the scheduled times, I will be happy to get them there providing you get them to me. Call 401-884-9258 to see if we can arrange a mutually acceptable drop off. Show runs 12/2-12/30 Eligibility: All Artist Members in good standing Entry Fee: $5.00 per painting. You may enter 2 paintings Size: Not to exceed 30 inches on longest side (including frame). Delivery/drop off:: December 2 nd, 10am 1pm, at the Cranston Public Library. Opening Reception: Sunday, December 10th, 2:00-4:00 PM 4 (Additional details sent in a separate email) We are booked in at the East Greenwich Library for a show in March 2018. It will probably the first Saturday in March for drop off and pick up the last Saturday of the month...opening Reception will be decided upon once the library calendar is brought up to date.
