Date:20-0 8-2013 F I R S T C O N V O C A T I O N N O T I F I C A T I O N The First Convocation of the Telangana University, Dichpally Nizamabad to be held in the 2 nd week of November, 2013 for the conferment of Degree on the successful completion of Bachelor Degree Course and Master Degree Courses. Candidates who have qualified for award of Degree during the academic years 2007-08 to 2012-13 are hereby informed to download the application form from the University website www.telanganauniversity.ac.in and the filled in forms along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Telangana University dated not later than 20 th September,2013 is to be submitted to the Principal of the concerned College. NOTE: 1) The Candidates should clear all the dues (if any) before applying for convocation failing which their application for admission to convocation will not be considered. 2) The Gold Medal recipients and Toppers of all courses will only be allowed to receive their degrees in person at the Convocation or by post in absentia, and rest of the Degree certificates of Bachelor Degree (LL.B.) and Master Degree Courses will have to collect from the office of the Controller of Examinations, Dichpally, Nizamabad after two weeks of the convocation held. The provisional list of Gold Medal recipients and Toppers of all courses will be displayed on the Telangana University website www.telanganauniversity.ac.in. 3) The University proposed to collect an Alumni Registration fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) which will be utilized for the growth and development of the University. The Candidates have to pay the prescribed fee through separate Demand Draft Drawn in favour of the Registrar, Telangana University, Nizamabad. The format of Registration form is attached to the convocation form. 4) The candidates who fail to submit application forms on the date prescribed have to take the Degree in absentia by paying the following prescribed fee: i) Up to the One year period from the date of Convocation, the prescribed fee is Rs.2000/- ii) Up to the Three years period from the date of Convocation, the prescribed fee is Rs.4000/- iii) Up to the Five years period from the date of Convocation, the prescribed fee is Rs.6000/- iv) Over and above Five years period from the date of Convocation, the prescribed fee is Rs.10,000/- Sd/- REGISTRAR

The candidates who have completed and passed their examination conducted by this University during the years 2007-08, 2008-09,2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 & 2012-13. The Last date for payment of convocation fee of Rs.1000/- and submission of prescribed application forms duly completed in all aspects at their respective colleges is 20.09.2013. NOTE:: 1) The exact date, time and venue of the convocation will be notified in due course, in Newspaper/ University website: www.telanganauniversity.ac.in 2) The convocation application can be downloaded from the University website www.telanganauniversity.ac.in 3) Application form duly filled in along with Copy of Marks Memo, Provisional certificate of examination passed together with two latest passport size photos should be submitted to the Principals of the College concerned. 4) The Principals of the respective colleges are requested to receive the filled in convocation application forms from the students and after verification including outstanding dues if any, submit to the Controller of Examinations, Telangana University on or before 24 th September,2013. 5) Candidates having outstanding dues should clear their dues before applying for Convocation failing which the application will not be considered. 6) Besides, the Candidate has to pay an alumni Registration Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) (a demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, TU) which will be collected by the Principal of the concerned college separately dated not later than 20 th September,2013. The Principal in turn will submit to the COE as per the schedule given. The alumni Registration form is attached to the Convocation form itself. Contd.2
