STELLAR Vision Strategies for English Language Learning and Reading (STELLAR) Children who love reading and have a strong foundation in the English Language STELLAR Learning Teaching and learning of English using more speaking and listening activities Children learn reading and writing using rich and interesting books, with discussions led by the teacher

What you and your child can do Go through and test your child the Sight Words Encourage your child to read o o o o o e.g. read to and with your child e.g. bring your child to the library e.g. have lots of reading material at home e.g. let your child read books on their special interests e.g. talk about the book (characters, favourite parts, etc)
