We will be hosting our annual Reenrollment Open House on Thursday, February 2st, at 7pm. We hope you have already made the decision to re-enroll your students for the 209-20 school year! Attending this meeting will ensure you receive additional incentives toward your monthly tuition! We would also encourage you to invite new friends and family members to join our family and discover the difference! SPRING BOOK FAIR Our annual spring book fair begins next month, March 4th-8th. This event provides a good opportunity for you, our parents, to view new books and materials that are available for sale to our students in grades K3-8. Books make wonderful gifts for all ages! If anyone would be willing to volunteer and assist with the book fair, please call the school office on Thursdays and talk to Linda Adkins. SENIOR VALENTINES SALE Our Seniors are selling a variety of items for Valentine s Day! An order form is available on page 3 of this week s Update. This is a great way to make the day special for your loved ones and friends! All proceeds will benefit the Senior class and their Senior trip! We have many businesses who faithfully support our school! Check out the list on pages 6 and 7! T H U R S D A Y, J A N U A R Y 3, 2 0 9 SENIOR AND GOLD RUSH NIGHT Join us tomorrow evening as we celebrate our first Gold Rush Night! Flood the stands with GOLD and cheer on our teams for victory! If you wear a gold shirt, you can get into the game for only $! Games and prizes will be given away during halftime of each game! Bring the entire family! During this special evening, we will be honoring all Senior athletes. The awards ceremony will take place between the girls and boys varsity games. We are trying to fill the stands and pack out the gym with cheering Soldier fans! We hope you will join us to celebrate our seniors! BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS Our WVCAT Middle School and Varsity basketball tournaments will take place at the end of next week and the week after. Greater Beckley Christian School will host our Middle School players on February 8th-9th. Our Varsity teams will play in Summersville on February 5th-6th. A playing bracket, for our Middle School teams, can be found on page 4 of the Update, and a Varsity bracket can be found on page 5.
