Student schedules deleted (purged) and housing assignments cancelled if Holds are not satisfied. Faculty/Staff Institute and Academic Advising Workshops. August 12 August 13-18 Residence halls and Kearny Dining Hall open for New and Transfer Students with Fiscal, Health and Academic clearance. Student Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR) August 14 August 19 August 19-20 August 21 Web registration reopens for students who are fiscally cleared. Late registration fee assessed for Continuing Students. Residence halls open at 9:00AM for Continuing Students with Fiscal, Health, and Academic clearance. Welcome Weekend. Classes begin. August 22 August 25 September 1 Last day to admit students for the Fall 2017 semester. Late registration ends. Last day to add a course. mydu closes at 5:00 PM. Schedules and Housing assignments purged if holds are not satisfied. Official class rosters due in Records and Registration. September 4 Labor Day Holiday. No classes.
